To prepare:
Review this week’s media presentation on hypertension and hyperlipidemia, as well as Chapters 19 and 20 of the Arcangelo and Peterson text.
Select one of the three case studies, as well as one the following factors: genetics, gender, ethnicity, age, or behavior factors.
Reflect on how the factor you selected might influence the patient’s pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic processes.
Consider how changes in the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic processes might impact the patient’s recommended drug therapy.
Think about how you might improve the patient’s drug therapy plan based on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes. Reflect on whether you would modify the current drug treatment or provide an alternative treatment option for the patient.
With these thoughts in mind:
By Day 3
Post an explanation of how the factor you selected might influence the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic processes in the patient from the case study you selected. Then, describe how changes in the processes might impact the patient’s recommended drug therapy. Finally, explain how you might improve the patient’s drug therapy plan.

Memo

Memo

Memo

Assignment: As the Human Resources Manager at XYZ Industries, Inc., it is your pleasure to announce the addition of annual performance-based bonuses for mid-level managers and above. These bonuses will require annual performance reviews to discern the amount of the bonus. Draft a memo explaining this scenario to this specific group of employees.

Preparation: Review Chapter 7: Writing Routine and Positive Messages (Especially pgs. 172-173)

Format: Memo formatting can be found on page 426-427 in your book. The format of your memo tells your employees a lot about your sensitivity and professionalism. Since you do not want to upset any employees unnecessarily, you should also be conscious of your wording when explaining culturally-sensitive subjects. Pay particular attention to your memo’s margins, line spacing, font type and size, and placement of memo parts such as the addressees, subject line, and body. ï‚· Address the memo to all mid-level managers and above at your company.

Header: Begin your memo with the four standard memo heads (Date, To, From, Subject).

Body/Discussion: In the first paragraph of the body, start off with the good news. Memos do not begin with greetings or salutations. Explain what factors could have contributed to this new development (i.e. increased sales, raising stock price, etc.) and why the decision was made to reward employees with the surplus funds.

The second paragraph is where you explain the new process that the employees can expect. Outline the way that reviews will be handled, and by whom. Feel free to be creative (yet somewhat realistic) when outlining how the performance scores will translate into bonuses (i.e. tier system, seniority, contribution value).

In the third paragraph, be sure to validate any anticipated concerns employees may have about this adjustment. Explain the greater benefit in the long-term this decision provides and conclude your memo by indicating how the reader may contact you if he/she has any questions. In general, this section should be “short & sweet,” making sure that the employees know what is expected of them

IT510 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric
IT 510 Final Project Guidelines and Rubric
Overview
The final project for this course is the creation of a System Proposal Document.
In any modern enterprise, it is crucial that all of the different stakeholders, users, inputs, and outputs that relate to the business’s IT systems coalesce in a logical
and cohesive way for the systems to be effective. As a member of an IT team, your overarching goal is to ensure that the IT systems ultimately do what the
business needs them to do. In this course, you have learned about the key principles and practices underlying the analysis, design, implementation, and
management of IT systems. In this final project, you will apply this knowledge by creating a systems proposal document.
The project is divided into four milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final
submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Module Two, Module Four, Module Six, and Module Eight. The final submission will occur in Module Nine.
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes: Assess the relationship of systems analysis, design, implementation, and development processes as they relate to the management of information
technology systems
Communicate the paradigms, processes, and activities of systems development to diverse audiences
Apply structure and object oriented analysis modeling techniques to analyze, design, and manage information technology systems
Construct written and visual representations of the analysis, design, implementation, and management of information technology systems based on the
systems development life cycle Prompt
You will select your own case study and will apply the content provided, describing the business process to complete the final project. Alternate sources for case
studies include the case studies found in the textbook with the exception of the Personal Trainer Case. You can additionally search the internet for business case
ideas.
You will complete an analysis of an existing information technology system and make recommendations for updates to meet business goals based on your chosen
case study. Your final submission will include an introduction, systems requirements, systems design specifications, and an implementation plan. All of the
components listed below should be submitted as a single, organized systems proposal document and include screenshots of all relevant diagrams, charts, and
tables.
I. Introduction: Provide an overview of your selected case. Be sure to provide appropriate citations and reference to the case study you have selected. a) Background: Establish a context for understanding your systems proposal. Specifically, explain any essential paradigms, processes, and activities
of the existing information technology systems.

SOC313: Social Implications of Medical Issues (CGF1711A)- Wk1 Discussion 2
Prior to completing this discussion, read Chapter 9 in the textbook, the SOC313 Family Document, and review the Instructor Guidance.
Our stage of life, intellectual/cognitive abilities, and sociocultural position in life, affect our perspectives and resultant behaviors about a number of conditions including cancer. Consider the information provided in the SOC313 Family Document. Both Ella and Evan have been diagnosed with cancer. Ella has been fighting cancer with complementary and alternative methods with some success for many years. Evan, her grandson, is 10 years old and has recently been diagnosed with leukemia but has not yet begun treatment.

Putting yourself in either Ella or Evan’s place, what might your perspective on your cancer be? Integrate how the stage of life, cognitive abilities, and sociocultural position of your chosen person influences her/his perspective on his/her individual disease.
Your initial post must be a minimum of 150 words with at least one scholarly source beyond your textbook

Explain Sentencing criminals to the death penalty
Explain “Sentencing criminals to the death penalty is a practice that has been going on since

ancient times. However, it has become a very controversial issue for the latter part of the

twentieth century. My home state of Florida is a state that practices capital punishment

for murders. As a strong supporter of the death penalty, I feel that my state and its

citizens are safe because of it.”?
