1) Read 1-4 pages of the attached article excerpt, “The Binge Breaker” (2016)
2) Write about 2 pages describing and responding in some detail to the article. Agree or disagree with more than one specific point it makes. (Of course your
“agreement” or disagreement can be nuanced rather than binary.)
Use signal phrases, source details to smoothly blend your words and author’s words. Optional: use rhetorical analysis tools (logos, ethos, pathos – see TAW p. 123) and
vocabulary.
