This week you will complete a research proposal to study something that interests you related to the brain. Utilize the Neuroscience Research Template and choose one of the topics below to complete your research proposal assignment.

Type directly on the copy of the template and submit the completed template in the drop box. This Assignment will measure your understanding of imaging techniques, basic neuroscience principles, and research design.

Choose one of the following approved topics for your proposal:

Grandmother cells (function of or reason for) in the brain
Stress and the brain
Alcoholism and the brain
Schizophrenia and the brain
Autism and the brain

Directions:

Please use at least one other reference for your project besides the textbook for a total of two references. The Kaplan Library is the best place to find research articles.
Please type your project using 12-point Times New Roman font and double-spacing.
This project should be 2–3 pages in length (excluding title and reference pages).
You must refer to the reading resources and provide a citation using the APA format in the form of in-text citations for any sources used.
Remember to include a title page at the start of, and a reference list at the conclusion of, your essay.
