For this first paper, I would like for you to address the following question: Given the various authors we have read concerning the conception of the self, which author do you agree with the most? Why do you find this author to be offering the most compelling account? In giving your answer, you are expected to give a detailed explanation of the author’s position and to explain why you agree with this position over the others. This discussion should also reveal what the author thinks concerning the relationship of the self to the mind and body.
