Read a few stories at http://www.themarketingscene.com/index.php/discussions/ , and devise your own story that fits in one of the categories listed. Stories should be 250–350 words in length and can be written in first or third person. You could become a published writer (really). Wouldn’t that look good on your resume? The stories need to have a marketing focus, but the topics are broad and can reflect your own taste.

Using this template, please add your file (your story) to the Group Files area by Friday of group week. You will also post a second copy of your paper on the Group Discussion Board as a reply to a thread you create for yourself. You could be contacted to publish your work. NOTE: Failure to post in Group Files will mean a zero for the story submission.
