Testimony: Writing a testimony is seemingly easy, but when you sit down to embark on the reflective journey, sometimes it is hard to figure out where to start. You should consider the different testimony styles to help determine the path you will take in explaining your experiential learning journey. Here are some testimony styles to consider:

Personal Experience Approach: Sincerely conveys your feelings using straightforward language about your experiences and observations.

Just Providing the Facts: A professional and technical account of your experiences and observations, sometimes using a timeline to discuss facts, figures, historical data, expert advice, and usually uses research to substantiate your opinions.

Expert Approach: this approach is used when you are the expert in your experiences and observations. This is a highly technical testimony, usually reserved for legal proceedings.
