Each of the four required questions is worth 50 points. You have 48 hours to submit your responses through the Dropbox. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word. Do not submit in pdf or wps format. Papers should be double spaced and presented in a 12 pt. font. There is NO make up for this exam – if you miss the 48 hour window for submission you forfeit the opportunity for these points. Do not wait until the last minute to submit as drop box may close or technical errors may occur. These responses require more than just a paragraph or even a page of work. I would consider 2 pages per question adequate for covering the topic and applying sociological terms and concepts to the topic. Content should include course concepts as well as your personal illustrations and applications. Submissions less than 1 1/2 pages or that fail to meet the required format will be subject to a loss of points. Essays should be grammatically correct and checked for spelling and usage before submitted (10 points). Please cite all sources (including your text) used in your response. Citations should follow an MLA format, which includes a citation page at the end and notes within the text identifying sources and pages. (10 points) All direct quotes from any source must be indicated with quotation marks. All tests will be checked for plagiarism, which may result in an F for the test, the paper, or for the semester. If you have any questions as to what is considered plagiarism, please see your student handbook or contact me for clarification before submission. No citations may be added after exam is submitted. EACH QUESTION NEED TWO PAGES OF WORK USE SOCIOLOGY TERMS

Apply Erving Goffman’s Dramaturgical Analysis to your own work place. Be specific with your examples. If you do not work provide another application.
Consider your own social groups. Describe your primary and secondary groups, as well as your in-groups and out-groups. Explain how each is defined.
Using your own life, apply Hirschi’s Control Theory to explain your lack of deviant behavior. Cover each of his four elements.
