Reflection is one of the key components of critical thinking, a quality that all leaders need. In each module, you will write a reflection summary called a "Takeaway." Through this reflection, you have the opportunity to explore the concepts introduced each week and then formulate and shape your leadership skills.
With this goal in mind, take the opportunity to reflect on and react to the weekly readings, discussions, media, and other content presented. Your summary should include the module's concepts and/or experiences that you will or can use as a leader.
Your Takeaways can come from class discussion, case analysis, readings, video clips, self-assessments, or exercises that most impressed you. Your Takeaway document should be 300-500 words in length, grammatically sound, and free of spelling errors. Review the Activity Rubric that will be used to evaluate this activity. Takeaways are due by the end of each module. If they are turned in late, points may be deducted from your grade for this activity. As per the course syllabus, your understanding of the topics and theories explored in this course will be assessed through discussion activities, case studies, assignments, and research paper.
