Daily Readings Questions For each assigned reading, bring to class two thoughtful questions written or typed in hard copy. Writing these questions encourages you to
think about what you have read and to reflect on the information and argument offered in each reading. Bringing them to class in hard copy allows you to add notes or
comments to your questions. You will turn in your questions at the end of each class. If you have written a reading response on the day’s assigned reading, you do not
need to turn in questions on that reading. A few points to consider as you generate your questions: ï‚· Avoid yes/no questions. They tend not to be very interesting.
ï‚· Avoid questions such as, “Does the author really think that…?”. ï‚· Instead, aim for high quality questions that could contribute to a useful class discussion.
Consider focusing on a concept or process you would generally like to understand or clarify about the reading, or your questions may relate the reading to current
events. Use Textbook PDF for chapter readings and the separate documents for the academic writing for refernce.
