FDQ 7a – Negotiations:
Discuss the difference between the two types of negotiations, distributive and integrative. Examine when each type of negotiation should be used and generate an example from your personal experience. What ethical pitfalls may occur in negotiations? How do you avoid these pitfalls?

The video states that communication is 7% verbal, 37% listening, and 56% non-verbal/body language. To increase a person’s ability to listen, it recommends the use of the “DRIVE.” strategy.

The film is very basic but has some great examples that each of us will understand regardless of our age. The last 12 minutes of the film consists of three exercises that you may find interesting, or you may skip them.
