The importance of quality cannot be overstated; two key elements of every purchasing decision are price and quality. Consequently, having a focus on quality and quality improvement should be a part of every business organization, whether the organization’s business is making cars, selling electronic goods, providing financial services, providing medical services, or baking cookies” (William, 2015, p.367)

Conduct a research on methods of production can affect the profit of a quality-driven company. You may use your organization for which you work or another company with which you are familiar for this assignment, as long as it is quality-driven. Some well-known examples of quality-driven organizations include Hilton Hotels, Peterbilt Motors, Porsche, Canon, Sony, Nordstrom, and T-Mobile (J. D. Power and Associates 2007 Quality Study).

In your paper:

Add an introduction of approximately three-fourth of a page on the importance of maintaining quality in the quality driven organization. Add statistical information on the effects of maintaining quality on the profit margin of an organization.
Define a problem, using problem statement, that the company has to address to maintain the highest quality product.
Outline specific topics in a literature review section that quality driven companies have used to increase, to meet, or to exceed their profit margin. In the literature review, highlight how the organizational culture, principles, and everyday expectations influence the organization’s productivity and level of quality for each product or service.
Address the findings from your research and present the information in a data analysis section.
Develop recommendations for the business and for further research on maintaining high standards of quality and company productivity.
Develop a succinct summary and conclusion of your findings and add them to a summary and conclusion section of the paper.

Support your paper with at least eight (8) resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources should be included. Articles that are older than five years from the time of conducting this research paper shouldnot be used.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course. Your paper should also provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to quality management and productivity. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
