As an organizational development practitioner you have been asked to review a “real” fortune 500 company from the 2013 list, (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500/2013/full_list/).
Research the company’s products/services, its employee base, benefits program, etc.
Write a 6-10 page paper, excluding the cover and reference pages
The paper must contain the following:
Name of your "consulting firm".
You will assume that the organization has already agreed to hire you based on previous discussions with them and your long list of experience and credentials. You will, however, need to include an Entry Contract.
Overview of the company you selected: A company history, the number they are on the Fortune 500 list and some financial information (VERY basic – no longer than 1 page).
Describe the major change you have decided to implement. Why is this change needed? (Approximately 1-2 pages)
Describe how you plan to implement the change. Develop an effective and efficient plan to manage this change. Decide how this will be done without major disruption to the entire workforce. (Approximately 2-3 pages)
Select at least 1 OD intervention to assist in the change and follow the activities contributing to Effective Change Management. (Approximately 2-3 pages)
