This is going to be an interesting discussion. We had this discussion last semester the week of the election and so many of my students compared the defeat of Adams to the defeat (or supposed defeat) of Trump. I am sure that these discussions will be quite different this semester. Here is the prompt:

The election of 1828 is similar to the election of 2016.

In your discussion post – I would like for you to either agree with that statement and provide evidence of support OR argue against that statement and provide evidence to support your point of view.  (at least 250 words)
