Ergonomic proposal

Ergonomic proposal

In the absence of an ergonomic regulation, develop a proposal to your employer (or imaginary employer) as to why the company/division/agency/etc. should develop a written ergonomic program. Include in your proposal (1) information on the types of tasks or hazards that would be covered by the program, (2) potential resources (time, personnel, money, equipment) necessary to develop the program, and (3) anticipated changes that might occur as a result of the implementation of the program. The proposal should be long enough to convince your employer that a written program is necessary, but short enough to not lose their interest.
