build cells. The human body is about 60­90 trillion cells. Cells organize themselves into tissues. There are four different kinds of tissues in living bodies: connective, muscle, epithelial and nervous. Tissues combine to form organs. Examples are stomach, heart, kidneys, lives, etc. Organs that have
similar functions combine to form organ systems. Examples are the digestive system, the respiratory
