I am doing a project about Picturing Culture, using photos which you will take at different workplaces and organizations of your choice. You will display the photos on PowerPoint slides. Your photos may show degree of formality/informality with the caveat of no sexual innuendos or references. Your photo presentation and essay must address many dimensions of organizational culture. I will do this project by following 7 category . CATEGORIES 1. VALUES, ETHICS AND/OR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 2. ATTRACTING GOOD WORKERS, MAINTAINING WORKER MOTIVATION, ATTENDANCE, EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION, TRAINING 3. PERCEPTION, CATEGORICAL THINKING, MENTAL MODELS, STEREOTYPING 4. SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY, EXPECTANCY THEORY, 5. TYPES OF TEAMS, TEAM PERFORMANCE, TEAM DEVELOPMENT 6. NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS, CONFLICT 7. ORGANIZATIONAL ARTIFACTS, RITUALS, CEREMONIES You just focus on category #3 PERCEPTION, CATEGORICAL THINKING, MENTAL MODELS, STEREOTYPING
