Directions: Provide an operational definition (please make sure you use the criteria
from your definition assignment) of the target response, and a data collection
method for each of the following scenarios and a short justification for each (i.e.,
why this method is appropriate). Remember not every response can be
appropriately quantified using frequency.

1. Mary is a 9 yeas-old girl with a diagnosis Autism Spectrum Disorders and a
mild intellectual disability. She frequently has long tantrums when she is out
in public that her mother reports include screaming, and self-injurious
behavior. After, interviewing her, she reported that she wants to decrease her
tantrums.

2. Chris is a 30 year-old man with a diagnosis of Williams’s Syndrome that
works at a local grocery store stocking shelves. The grocery store manger
reports that Chris sometimes stops stocking shelves and has a hard time
getting back on track, resulting in other stock people having to do double the
amount of work. The manager reports that he would like Chris to be better at
stocking shelves in a timely manner to avoid other employee outrage.

3. George is a 6 year-old boy with a traumatic brain injury which resulted in an
intellectual disability. In his preschool class, he often refuses to engage with
other children. The teacher reports his outbursts include throwing pencils
and paper throughout that classroom. His teacher would like to help George
interact with other children more, in hopes to reduce his outbursts
