Duties: 
This position is responsible for ensuring that merchandise/inventory, price adjustments, customer returns, cash register operations are accurately and completely.  Greets and engages customers in conversation for purpose of providing sales related assistance.  Communicate with Supervisors, Store Manager regarding stock additions, deletions, and fast and slow selling merchandise.  This position is required to receive payments from customers and issue payments from petty cash as per Company guidelines.
Organization Structure:
This position reports to the Senior Accountant and receives written and verbal direction from this individual.
This positon does not supervise or direct any staff.

Incumbent ensures that the company funds are properly handled; prepare cash for banking payments to vendors, and local suppliers.  
Scope and Effect:
Incumbent assignment involves the treatment of a variety of conventional problems, questions, and/or situations in conformance with established criteria from external and internal customers.  Incumbent is responsible for the development of necessary supplemental material, and appropriate training devices. 
Working Conditions:
This position is subject to stress arising from unexpected cash issues and/or late entries that requires additional time at work.  The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which requires normal safety precautions.
