Application: Political World Leaders of World War II

The policies of Roosevelt, Mussolini, Stalin, and Hitler shaped the events surrounding World War II. Each had rather differing opinions and took specific actions to achieve his nation's desired outcomes. One leader's decision is attributed to the start of World War II — the deadliest, costliest war in history, with approximately 70 million casualties worldwide.

At this time in history, as any time in history, citizens looked to their leaders to protect them and ensure their prosperity.
