  • This was written by a former student and is annotated using highlights and comments to demonstrate areas of strength in the paper. While this paper is not perfect, it is an excellent example for this assignment. Notice how the synthesis includes a synthesis of the findings from empirical studies, with appropriate tone and style, rather than a summary. This section is organized using subheadings and demonstrates successful synthesis. The Discussion/Evaluation section interprets the findings and focuses on the methodology across the 10 studies.
