Dear Minister Mohamed AL-Rashid,

It is quite saddening that there are some people here in Saudi Arabia who have to travel long distances to get to a hospital. There are only 29 referral hospitals in the country which is a very small number compared to other countries. This has resulted to many deaths as people might be too sick to get to a hospital and the nearest hospital they can find is close to 100kms away. In 2009, there were 10,000 people who died as a result of not being able to get to a hospital in time. Most of these deaths occur just as the hospital’s door as they reach there when it is too late. Coupled with the fact that the population of Saudi Arabia is expected to grow by 25% in the next three years this will become more serious with time. This means that many more people will need medical care and if they can not access a hospital then more deaths will occur. Why should citizens of a country die due to lack of hospitals and the government can do something about it?

Therefore Minister, there is a need to build more hospitals in the country. The hospitals should be built particularly in rural areas where people have to go to a nearby town in order to get a hospital. The hospitals should also be fully equipped and doctors available so that they can attend to these patients who desperately need medical attention. With more hospitals and their proximity there will be fewer deaths as people will have easy access to hospitals. They will no longer and have to travel long distances so that they can be treated.

Leverage ratios

The Walt Disney Company’s leverage ratios show a positive trend since the recession, which took place in the 2009 fiscal year. The debt to equity ratio took a 10% dip in 2009 due to the recession, but has increased roughly 5 percentage points since 2009. The 5% growth in the past 4 years is a positive trend since it means that The Walt Disney Company is getting more financial leverage and has a higher percentage of equity. Therefore, The Walt Disney Company is very safe in the debt to equity category. Similarly, the Interest Coverage ratio dipped in 2009 due to the recession, but has nearly doubled since 2009. Currently, Disney has the income to pay off 25 times the amount of interest expense that it incurred this past financial year. This is an excellent sign that The Walt Disney Company has no problems regarding interest payments.

Cash flow ratios

In the last 5 years, the cash flow adequacy numbers for The Walt Disney Company have been on a generally upward trend over the past 5 years. For the most part, cash flows to assets and cash flows to sales have steadily grown in the last 5 years, and have all now surpassed their pre-recession levels. While the cash flow yield has decreased slightly over the last three years, this is not data to worry about. Most of the decline is attributable to Disney paying off a large amount of the costs associated with building more theme parks and paying off payments on new cruise ships. Furthermore, the cash flow yield ratio has remained well above 100%, meaning that the company is generating a lot of income through their operating processes. The cash flow yield is very important for Disney since most of its revenues and income are brought in through the operations of its many resorts and theme parks. The increases of cash flow to sales and cash flows to assets further back up this positive trend, as Disney’s cash flows are totaling to more and more of its revenues and total assets, meaning the company is using its cash at a fast rate to help generate revenues and profits.

EPS

The price/earnings per share ratio is the more definitive measure of The Walt Disney Company’s stock compared to its competitors. The Walt Disney Company has maintained the most consistent growth of the three main competitors. Time Warner suffered non cash impairments due to the necessity to use higher discount rates for customers, which accounted for roughly 2/3 from of the decline in the fair value of their cable franchising rights. New Corporation experienced a similar impairment in 2009 of $113 million of which was attributed to the company’s “ability to hold its investment until recover and the investment’s financial strength and specific prospects.” All things considered, The Walt Disney Company maintains the industry standard with regards to the price/earnings ratio with a more consistent and predictable growth, with decreases in the price/earnings ratios coming only from 2010-2011. Overall, The Walt Disney Company the safest investment of the three.

All health facilities and emergency medical divisions in United States must comply with the regulatory and statutory requirements for state licensure and Medicare certification. Illinois forms one of the major states in United States where medical practitioners strictly comply with licensure and certification rules and regulations. According to IL Professional Counselor Licensing and Disciplinary Board, Licensure refers to particular health care entities that an individual medical person must have before providing any health care services. Certification is the legal authority given to health care entities with the interest of serving Medicare and Medicaid clients. Some of the laws regulating and impacting credentialing, licensing, and certification in Illinois State for Mental Health Counselors include the Professional Counseling Act and Professional Counseling Rules. These laws are found under the Illinois department of financial and professional regulation and guides credentialing and licensing of professional Mental Health Counselors in the State (idfpr, 2014).

Mental health professionals in Illinois must possess a license in order to carry out services to clients. The state of Illinois has two levels of mental health licenses, the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Practitioners in LPC acquire their license through normal education and examination while LCPC must work under strict supervision and complete a test for them to hold a license. For a Mental Health Counselor to hold a professional license and certificate in Illinois, one must pass the following three key content areas.

Education

A Licensed Clinical professional Counselor must have a master’s degree or higher in professional counseling or other related fields from an accredited University in the State. The person can also have a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor credential issued by NBCC. On the other hand, a Licensed Professional Counselor must hold a master’s degree from a regionally accredited university and the program must be approved by IL Department. In addition, the person must have completed at least 48 semester hours in order to qualify for LPC licensure and certification (American Counseling Association, 2010, p. 26).

Experimental requirements

A LCPC must undergo two years of full-time supervised employment or experience in clinical professional counseling department. The supervisor should be a qualified LCPC with all the above educational requirements. A qualifier should provide face-to-face service to clients’ for 1, 920 hours out of the two years work experience. An applicant with doctoral degree only has one year of full-time supervision (American Counseling Association, 2010, p. 26).

Examination

Finally, the applicant should seat and pass the following exams. For LCPC, the applicant must pass the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHC). On the other hand, the LPC applicant must pass The Licensed professional counselor (LPC), the NCE or Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) (American Counseling Association, 2010, p. 26).

The State of Illinois has developed many publications and websites where applicants see revised and updated licensure and certification laws. Some of the most reliable websites include Illinois State Board of Education (http://www.isbe.net/licensure/) and Counselor-License (http://www.counselor-license.com/states/illinois-counselor-license.html). In order to remain current of all revisions and amendments to state laws, it is recommended that a Mental Health Counselor subscribe to newsletters and email alerts through the internet. In addition, one could frequently visit such websites and search for new messages posted on website page. Finally, a professional must register his or her license with the registration board for easier notification on any amendment or changes occurring.

Project Overview

My senior project is a documentary/short film on obesity in America. I will showcase how demographics, commercials, and culture can influence this health issues. I will also provide outlets and expertise that can decrease this common health crisis.

Research

Obesity in America is a common disease that affects some humans on a daily basis. It is such an important and ongoing topic that documentaries, films, and even television shows such as one of TLC’s hit reality series, My 600-lb life, has made it on our home screens. With that being said, “Let’s Talk About Fat.”

For decades obesity has lived amongst us in society; this disease has been “encouraged” throughout our lives. So, what do I mean by obesity being encouraged in our community? According to the CDC, processed packaged food, larger portions, and drive-thru meals are the “face” of the ideal American food. The reason being that its quick to get, cheap, and delicious. Because of this you will most likely find majority fast-food chains like McDonalds and Taco Bell in low-income neighborhoods. This study was conducted to determine was there in an increase in African American communities of being exposed to fast food restaurants.

Another contribution is the lack on inactivity. These last couple of decades it has been a decrease in daily activities that involve some type of exercise. Americans burn 120 to 140 less calories than they did 50 years ago. It was more common to do more labor that required more movement back in the 1950s-60s than we do currently. Unfortunately, it has become more common now due to the pandemic and quarantine; we are mandated to stay home and realistically people are not as motivated to do home workouts like they would in a physical gym. Because people are not as motivated to physically exercise it increases the rate of people being more overweight and obese than maintaining a healthy BMI.

Obesity is a very serious disease that is affecting more middle-aged adults. It is rare that young adults between the age of 18-24 years will experience obesity, however if we do not handle this epidemic carefully these percentages and statistics can change.

According to Davis (2020), assisted reproductive technology (ART) is described as medical procedures and treatments that are designed to result in pregnancy. All fertility procedures may be categorized as ART, whether they include eggs or embryos being handled. In most cases, assisted reproductive technology (ART) operations consist of surgically extracting eggs from a woman’s ovaries, mixing them with sperm in the laboratory, and then reinjecting the eggs into the woman’s body or transferring them to another woman. ART is utilized to assist persons who are having problems conceiving a child on their own in obtaining pregnancy as a pregnancy conception aid. Some of the techniques involved in ART include donor sperm or eggs, in Vitro fertilization, pronuclear stage tubal transfer, and surrogacy (Jain & Sing, 2021).

Recommended ART Process

For Melissa’s case, I think it would be a good idea if she opts to use donor eggs as an ART option. There are many reasons why I would advise Melissa to use donor eggs instead of her own. First, because of the hysterectomy, she is unable to create eggs that are capable of being fertilized on her own. Second, it is possible that the cancer interfered with her ovarian function, making it impossible for her to become pregnant with her eggs.

Steps Involved in this Process for Melissa

After discussing her treatment choices with both her oncologist and gynecologist, Melissa concludes that she wants her own biological child, and she opts to utilize her own eggs to conceive the baby using her own eggs that were frozen prior to having her uterus removed. To conceive the baby, Melissa is taken through the Vitro fertilization procedure and uses a sperm donor. After fertilization, the next step is transferring the fertilized embryo into the surrogate’s uterus. The surrogate is the one who is charged with carrying the baby to full term and delivering the baby when the time comes.

Benefits of the ART Process

According to Santa Monica Fertility (2022), some of the benefits of using an Egg donor as an ART process include; the ability to choose the gender of a child and do a chromosomal screening; the use of an egg donor is attractive to some would-be parents, and the infant may have a genetic relationship to the father; this is possible in situations involving heterosexual or same-sex male partnerships, as well as in cases involving solitary males of any gender. Another benefit of this ART process is the ability to use a surrogate.

Drawbacks of the ART Process

Having a child through an egg donor as the preferred ART process is the best option for many couples. However, there are several drawbacks associated with this process, such as there is no genetic connection between the mother and the child born from a donor egg, and it is challenging to mentally and emotionally reveal to a kid that they were born with the aid of an egg donor. Other drawbacks of using this ART process are that there is the possibility of sexually transmitted disease transmission and transmission of unknown hereditary factors, and the process can cause certain pregnancy risks (Santa Monica Fertility, 2022).

I have a few questions before moving further:

1) Do you take pay pal?

2) Can I provide we start with one case study first?  The reason I mention that is my biggest concern is making sure there is a match of writing, which is sometimes difficult.  Since I’ve done the assignment before, I don’t want my professor to notice there’s a vast difference, sending alarms.  I respect writers and their meticulous work, so I don’t want you to think I’m trying to take advantage.  I just want to make sure we can match up and move forward with the cases, since there are so many.  It would be a waste of both of our times if I read the case and, upon reading it, I don’t notice the writing style matching up.  I’d rather it be one case for that to happen with and not 4 if we decide to not further the transaction.

On another note, here are more detailed requirements of the cases:  

The one due Dec. 9 is 1300-1400max words in length and requires 6-7 sources.  The others can range from 1250-1300 words with 4-5 sources.  They’re all specifically formatted case studies per the professor’s instructions, found below.  They’re on specific companies’ cases, which I have and can provide. 

I’ve completed 7 cases that have received top grades (90-100% range).  I can provide examples, if interested.  One is of lower quality, the other of higher given the grades received (90% and 100%, respectively).  The 90% work is a USA Today case, with a Zappos case taking the highest grade.  Though I understand no promise of grade can be made, both would be examples of 1) the professor and what he considers grade A work and, 2) my writing style.

The following are the instructions from the professor:  

“The written case should have three major sections: 

1) Identification of the strategic issues and problems– This section contains a focused paragraph defining the problem. A problem well-defined is half solved therefore your analysis must contain a clear statement as to the underlying problem facing the organization. Specify the constraints and options available to the organization. 

2) Analysis and evaluation. This section contains thoughtful and succinct assessment of industry, market, buyer behavior and organization. Be careful not to restate case information, rather focus on assessment and interpretation of the facts, qualitative and quantitative data and management views. SWOT analysis framework is one of the useful tools to use in case analysis. 

This section should also present three alternative courses of actions with pros and cons analysis for each alternative. 

3) Recommendations. This section presents set of recommendations chosen from the alternatives discussed in the previous section. Make sure those recommendations are coming out of your assessment of the situation. Recommendations should be operational and realistic in the given case situation.”

The only difference with the case due on Dec 9th and the three others is that it requires a higher number of sources.

Being an Early childhood teacher at ST. Andrews Montessori School in Botswana, I have studied nutrition in child development. Children’s healthy nutritional diet is vital to promote healthy development. Most parents do not observing children’s balanced diet and more kids are found to be suffering from malnutrition and others from obesity (Dr Wyndham, 2008). Children’s nutrient requirements such as the need for iron and calcium, adjust as your child ages. The Montessori encourages parents to make health decisions and choose what is essential for children’s healthy growth. Parents should feed children with high fiber content food and vitamins. A full serving comprises fruits or vegetables half the plate then a quarter protein and then whole grain cereals. Limit junk and fast food, as well as sugary drinks substitute with water (Library, 2013).

Our Montessori school has come up with a weekly balanced diet plan that includes all types of food necessary for the body. All Children are fed lunch and break snack, which has this balanced plan. In addition the school has launched a program where parents and children attendants comes to school every end of the term for Nutrition programs and are guided on what healthy food to give to their children. They are also taught on the consequences of malnutrition, and its impact on academic performance of a child. We hope that all parents will be cooperative and will share this information with other parents.

Michael Drayton,

I am writing to you to inform you about the new play I am writing. The title of the play is Macbeth. This play is in form of a tragedy. It is set in Scotland and it sensationalizes the corrosive political and psychological effect when wickedness is chosen to be a way of fulfilling the ambition of power. Just to give you a brief description of the play, the characters will be Duncan: the king of Scotland, Malcolm: the elder son of Duncan, Donalbain: the younger son of Duncan. There will also be Macbeth: a general in King Duncan’s army, Lady Macbeth: the wife of Macbeth, Banquo: friend to Macbeth as well as a general in Duncan’s army, Fleance: son of Banquo, Macduff: Thane of fife and Lady Macduff who is Macduff’s wife (Shakespeare, 2009)

It starts where a thunderstorm is experienced and there are three witches who conclude a meeting. These witches decide to face the Scottish general Macbeth on his triumphant homecoming from a war involving Norway and Scotland. The king of Scotland named Duncan decides that he will award the title of the disloyal Cawdor on the epic Macbeth. Macbeth together with another general referred to as Banquo come across the witches. The witches foresee that at some point in his life he will be a king (Shakespeare, 2009). They also foretell that the general Banquo will produce kings but he will not be a king himself. Duncan then makes arrangement to meet him up in his castle. Macbeth is in a position where he is not able to quit thinking about the witches’ forecast that he will be king. He therefore decides to murder Duncan where his wife agrees with the idea. 

When Duncan arrives at the castle, he has thoughts about the murder but it is too late for him as he is murdered by Macbeth and his wife. After the murder the wife smears the blood on the daggers of the guards who are sleeping. Macduff is a character who manages to discover the body but before the investigation takes place, Macbeth assassinates the guards to show that they are the ones who killed Duncan. Malcolm and Donalbain who are Duncan’s sons fear for their lives and they escape to Scotland. This makes them guilty and the crown is given to Macbeth. Macbeth then remembers about the witches’ forecast that Banquo will at one time become a king (Shakespeare, 2009). He plans for his assassination with Fleance and Donalbain, his sons. He succeeds but Fleance manages to escape. As a result, Banquo’s ghost appears making Macbeth’s behavior strange.

With the fear of being noticed, he feels that Macduff suspects him as he did not show up in the feast. He meets up with the witches where they discuss the matter and the witches assure him of safety. He later realizes that Macduff is telling Malcolm to reclaim the throne. He then plans for Macduff’s son and wife to be murdered. Macduff therefore sets an army to attack and bring him down (Shakespeare, 2009). Out of guilt Macbeth’s wife commits suicide, later on Macduff murders Macbeth and Malcolm ends up the King. This proves the witches’ prediction true at last.

Apart from this storyline, there are various features which I will use to bring out the themes clearly and make my play different from others. I know that a storyline involving witches will definitely increase the number of prospective individuals to watch this movie. This is the reason why I have included the witches in my play. The other thing is that King James is really interested with sorcery and witchcraft. Since it is just two years after he became the King, my play will be one of his best as it contains what he is interested in. I will also make sure that all my quotes are complete by mentioning the act and the scene. This will enable the individuals who intend to catch up with the play to have easy referencing to the part of the play. I have also looked at other plays and made sure that I produce mine in a different way. I have learnt how other authors write their plays and I have decided to be different from them. I want to make it different in order to draw a large audience and make them know that I am a different author who can come up with stories that are totally different from others’. This will help to build up a good reputation for me and make my work known over a wide region. The settings of other authors cannot apply within my work since I like being unique and do my work to my best using my own knowledge and ability. I have also picked a theme which affects the society at large as the authoritative issue affects many individuals in the society. These are some of the things which I have used to make sure that my play draws the attention of a large audience. Since most of my manuscripts have not been published, I am working to make sure that this being one of my best is published and that it sells well in the market.

I have always had the passion of writing and this is something which developed in me. At early stages I tried to compete with high standard writers such as Thomas Nashe and Christopher Marlowe. It was quite challenging but I never gave up. In my line of writing I have experienced many challenges since not everything I write will please everybody. This is something which has not pulled me down but rather pushed me up because those who appreciate my work encourage me. I intend to continue with writing as it is my passion and not to leave it at any point when I still have the strength to.
